Attractions

Nishaville is perfectly located to experience the varied attraction of both sea and land in Thailand's Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Just one hour south of the bustling resort town of Hua Hin, the area around Nishaville is still beautifully unspoiled by mass tourism. Among the nearby attractions nearby are :

Baan Huay Yang Village
The resort is located next to this quiet and charming village where Thai fishermen still bring in the catch from the sea in traditional wooden boats. There is a local market where guests can buy fresh fruit and vegetables and seafood or taste local delicacies at the many food stalls offering original Thai cuisine.

Wanakorn National Park
Nishaville's pristine beach continues on 7km into the adjacent Wanakorn National Park which consists of protected seashore and two offshore islands, Koh Chan and Koh Thaisi. The park is ideal for snorkeling, bird watching and walking on nature trails.

Bangsaphan
One hour south of the resort, Bangsaphan is the pier for boats going to Koh Talu, a lovely island known for its hole in the wall rock formations and excellent for snorkeling, scuba diving and water sports.

Wat Thang Sai
At this temple, an enormous golden Buddha is set on a mountain overlooking the sea and Baan Krud beach. The stairway leading to the glittering gold and silver temple is surrounded by lovely gardens and the temple itself offers panoramic views of the coast.

Waghor Aquarium
Part of King Mongkut Memorial Park of Science and Technology, the aquarium explores the six different aquatic zones to be found in Thailand. The highlight is the feeding show held daily in the Big Tank at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. A butterfly garden as well as bird and insect displays and a space museum are located within the complex.

Singkhorn Pass
This is the checkpoint for entry into Myanmar, where an interesting local market sells handicrafts, teak furniture, plants and wild orchids form Burma is open every Saturday.

Huay Yang Waterfall
This spectacular waterfall consists of five different levels and is accessed by a trail running through the tropical forest. There are many rest areas to relax at and viewpoints for photos along the way.

Ao Manao Bay (Lime Bay)
This calm and sandy beach is in the property of the Royal Thai Air Force which has the military base camp in this area. As a result the beach has been spared development and is pleasantly uncommercial. Nearby there are local food stalls selling grilled seafood and a 9-hole military golf course that is open to the public.

Khao Chong Kra-jok (Mirror Mountain)
This place is also sometimes known as Monkey Mountain due to the large number of apes living on its slopes. The 396-step climb to the top is rewarded by a magnificent view of the sea and nearby islands.

Prachuab Khiri Khan Town
This charming provincial town offers an interesting excursion from the resort with outdoor restaurants overlooking the bay and local markets filled with fresh local produce.
